SpartanNash Appoints Peter Anjorin Vice President of Strategy and Business Development; Masiar Tayebi Discusses



GRAND RAPIDS, MI - SpartanNash continues to build out its executive ranks, this time with the addition of Peter Anjorin as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development.

Peter Anjorin, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, SpartanNashIn this role, Anjorin will play a key role in driving growth initiatives for SpartanNash, including strategic partnerships, innovation opportunities, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Before joining SpartanNash, Anjorin worked at Whirlpool Corporation for 13 years. There, he gained experience in roles across corporate strategy, marketing, and merchandising.

Most recently, he served as Head of Product Strategy for the North American refrigeration business, a press release explained, where he led cross-functional teams in identifying and translating consumer insights into winning innovations.

SpartanNash recently appointed Peter Anjorin as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development to drive growth initiatives for the company

As Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, he will be responsible for advancing strategic plans for SpartanNash and will report to Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Masiar Tayebi.

Anjorin earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Calvin University.
