Consumer and foodservice demand is skyrocketing for two of Lipman’s proprietary tomato varieties, Ripe Bites and Crimson Queen, thanks to their high flavor, deep red hue, and high lycopene levels, according to a press release.

Since their launch last year, both Florida-grown varieties have seen a tremendous rise in popularity. Ripe Bites (above), a grape tomato variety, is grown exclusively in Lipman’s Naples, Florida-based retractable-roof greenhouse and consumers love its desirable high-sugar content.
