CHARLOTTE, NC - On top of the impactful networking opportunities and pivotal connections that take place at industry events, one of the best things about trade shows is getting to preview newly released products.

At this year’s International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show, Dole Food Company will not only be sponsoring the Retail Produce Manager Awards Program but also giving attendees a look at new fresh fruit and vegetable offerings, including its recently debuted DOLE® Golden Selection Pineapple.

“While all Dole pineapples are tender, sweet, and packed with nutrients, healthy enzymes, and vitamins B6 and C, the Golden Selection pineapples glow and taste just a little brighter,” said Bil Goldfield, Director of Corporate Communications, sharing that less than 6 percent of all pineapples possess the taste and appearance qualifications necessary to be tagged a Golden Selection pineapple.

Earlier this year, the company unveiled its DOLE Golden Selection Pineapple, a juicer, sweeter, and more aromatic pineapple grown exclusively in Costa Rica, a release stated. Launched in limited quantities in select markets, the Golden Selection Pineapple has since increased volumes and is being made available to more cities throughout North America by popular demand.

Dole also announced the October 1 launch and shipping start date for the DOLE® Dragon Fruit to retail and wholesale customers in the Western United States and Canada.

When it comes to its packaged salad lineup, the supplier will preview three new taste varieties of its best-selling DOLE® Chopped! Salad line arriving on shelves throughout North America during Q4 2024. They include the DOLE Chopped! Garden Herb Salad Kit, DOLE Chopped! Cajun Ranch Salad Kit, and DOLE Chopped! Bourbon Honey Mustard Salad Kit.
