Collecting the cash for the supply-side is Mike Vesely, Senior Customer Manager at Chiquita, while John Contesso, Produce Buyer at Get Fresh Produce, took the gold for the buy-side.

We reached out to both winners to celebrate their victories and found that sometimes nabbing the prize is about channeling the knowledge of fellow industry greats.

“I had to channel my inner Johnny White, Senior Sales Manager at Shuman Farms, to win this quiz. So, I guess lunch for the team is on Johnny!” John said in an email to AndNowUKnow.

Mike also shared a comment on his experiences with the Quiz Quix, noting the element of friendly competition.

"I look forward to the quizzes coming out to have a chance to learn more about other growers in the industry," Mike said. "I also relish the chance of competing with John Contesso. We used to work together at Jewel-Osco, and the office would get heated every time a new quiz was published."
