EL SEGUNDO, CA - Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market is entering the Sacramento, California region bringing more than just a great shopping experience, but over one-hundred jobs as well, according to a recent press release. The five store openings will also invite those in the community to nominate a local, non-profit organization to receive a $1,000 donation, courtesy of Fresh & Easy.
Although Fresh & Easy will be leaving its mark as the new stores open, they will be doing so lightly. Fresh & Easy stores use 30% less energy than the usual supermarket. Through LED lighting, recycling in every store for consumers as well as for the stores' displays and packaging, and advanced refrigeration and freezer cases, stores have less of an impact on the environment while helping customers save money.
Tim Mason, Chief Executive Officer, states, "We are absolutely thrilled to open our first stores in Sacramento." He continues, "No one works harder to bring customers the freshest, best-tasting, and most affordable food than Fresh & Easy." Two locations are scheduled to open March 7, 2012, with three more slated to open on March 14, 2012.
