California Grape and Tree Fruit League, TMK Produce and Seald Sweet

The California Grape & Tree Fruit League celebrated its 75th annual meeting last week in Rancho Mirage, California. Highlights included the passing of the gavel from past Chairman Daivd Margueles of Sun World International to recently elected Chairman Steve Hash of Steve Hash Farms. Karen Ross, secretary of California’s Department of Food And Agriculture, spoke to the membership about new opportunities for California agriculture to expand its exports, as well as leading the way for further innovations in the fresh produce industry. CGTFL President Barry Bedwell stated quote “the CGTFL once again showed why this organization was created in the first place: to address the issues of importance of its members.”
