Classic Salads is introducing a complete line of premium organic baby-leaf salads for the retail market. For ten years, Classic Salads has been the premier supplier of gourmet salads to the foodservice sector. The year-round grower, processor and shipper is now offering both clamshell and bagged organic salads - you can see them firsthand at PMA Fresh Summit, booth 5373.

The global fruit industry is reeling with the loss of Gladwin Bellamy Jr, president and founding partner of Columbia Marketing International. Mr. Bellamy, known as Glady to family, friends and colleagues, helped create CMI in 1989. Since then, CMI has become one of the largest tree-fruit shippers in the Pacific Northwest. We offer our sincere condolences to Mr. Bellamy's family.

PMA has launched a new mobile app for this year's Fresh Summit, putting information about this year's largest produce gathering at users fingertips. The free application includes real time meeting and event schedules, exhibitor listings, hotel info and local area resources. It also includes access to the Fresh Summit Twitter Feed, as well as breaking convention news. The app is available for the Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and the iPhone.
