Curry & Company has selected YottaMark Incorporate’s HarvestMark platform for its traceability program. Consumers will be able to trace Curry & Co blueberries back to the farm and provide feedback via HarvestMark and iphone. CEO Matt Curry stated that “The HarvestMark traceability platform allows us to implement new programs that support and enhance our reputation for providing the very best farm fresh produce and professional service to be found anywhere.” The partnership will also allow Curry & Co to strengthen its PTI program and provide better products to its customers.
Some sweet news to report on the Honeycrisp Apple: the first import of the Chilean Variety is now available! Wescott Agri Products through its Honeybear Brands division, brought the first imported apples to North American markets starting in April. President of Wescott Agri Products, Fred Wescott, stated quote “By working with our Chilean partners, we can ensure our production of the highest quality Honeycrisp apples meets consumers’ expectations for a great tasting apple.” The apple has a blend of sweet and tart flavor with a crunchy flesh.
