D’Arrigo Bros. Company of California is racin’ for a cure! The company is joining forces with 2Xtreme Racing, putting its pink ribbon logo on the side of the The Bounty Hunter Monster Truck. Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, Margaret D’Arrigo-Martin stated “By combining the great sport of monster truck racing with the fresh and healthy products of Andy Boy, we are able to support the amazing cause of breast cancer research.” Fresh produce and chef demos will also be a part of the event.
Mann Packing is springing into multiple new promotions in the next three months. Starting in mid-April, the company will offer instant redeemable coupons on 100,000 packages of 8-ounce Stringless Sugar Snap Peas and 12-ounce Green Beans. Then in May, Mann Packing, along with Litehouse Foods will provide a one dollar I-R-C for any Litehouse product with the purchase of Mann’s Simply Singles and Broccoli Slaw items. In Canada, consumers can save one dollar on Janes frozen chicken products after buying any two of Mann’s fresh cut vegetable products.
The Oppenheimer Group is growing its greenhouse category, after recently partnering with Geo Produce and Platinum Produce Company. The two Ontario growers offer a combined 37 acres of colored sweet bell peppers, with Geo Produce adding 4.5 acres of tomatoes-on-the-vine. CEO John Anderson stated, “Geo Produce and Platinum Produce have the same values as we do at Oppenheimer, like putting food safety first, and meeting high standards for quality and flavor.”
