SAN ANTONIO, TX - Ernst Van Eeghen, Vice President of Marketing & Product Development for Church Brothers, has announced that after 7 great years with the grower, he will be leaving in favor of new opportunities closer to his family in San Antonio, Texas. Beginning in the first week of November, Ernst will be joining the Twang Partners' team as its new Director of Marketing and Product Development.

Ernst Van Eeghen, Vice President of Marketing & Product Development“I have to admit that leaving Church Brothers after all these years is a very bittersweet experience,” Ernst shared with me. “I love my job. I love the people I work with and the clients I've worked for during my time with Church Brothers. It's a special thing to be able to love driving to work each morning and that's what I've had during my time here.”

Ernst revealed that it was only after talking extensively with his wife and family, that he decided that this move would be the best thing for his whole family.

“Everything moved very fast,” he shared. “My wife and I have talked a lot about our desire to move closer to our extended family, but it was only after this exciting opportunity with Twang Partners opened up, that this really became a reality for us.”

“I'm very excited to begin working with the team Twang has in place and get to work on growing the tremendous line of products they have on their hands,” he continued.

Ernst tells me that one of his the projects he will be tackling in his new position will be aggressively working on a line of flavored, dry salad dressings. These salad dressings would offer consumers a great tasting, healthy alternative to traditional high fat, high calorie salad dressings, he shared.

“Dry salad dressings offer a unique value proposition to our retail partners which I think people are going to get excited about,” Ernst explained. “In addition to being a great healthy option, they increase the crunch and flavor variety of salads, and are an economically attractive, shelf-stable item. It's a product that I'm very excited to be working on at Twang.”

Ernst has announced that his last day at Church Brothers will be this Friday, September 26th. He can be reached at [email protected].

AndNowUKnow would like to wish Ernst the best in this next exciting chapter of his career. Congratulations, Ernst!
