It's bright, bright sun shiny day at Giumarra Vineyards as the company has announced plans to build a solar array at their Bakersfield packing facility. Giumarra is partnering with HelioPower for the construction of the photovoltaic system, which will offset the majority of the company's electrical needs when completed. Giumarra is also allocating additional land for further solar and thermal energy projects as part of the energy-savings initiative.

Their new Maqui Berry Puree, grown in the rainforests of Chile and Argentina, offers a rich, nutritional blend of anthocyanin along with a pleasant flavor and dark berry notes. The new Prickly Pear Cactus is grown and processed into a puree in Central California, and it offers extensive anti-oxidants and a soft watermelon flavor.
