Brussels sprouts are a growing category, and this company is hoping to give consumers what they want! One pound microwaveable bags are currently available at Ippolito International but two pound bags will be in stores within the next few weeks. The brussels sprouts are washed and ready to eat. VP of Sales & Marketing, Paul Mocettini, explained, “The one pound bag is great for consumer convenience and is easy to take home and put in the microwave. We have experienced an increase in demand for Brussels sprouts over the past two years.”
Sun World International is hoping its latest employee will shine some light on safely delivering fruit to consumers! Claudio Olave is the new Director of Quality Assurance and Food Safety. Sun World’s quality standards, inspection protocols, and food safety program are included in his responsibilities.
