Lauren Dees Mizelle, Consumer Products Advocate for National Onion Labs states, “Addressing the issue of non-qualified product, Peri & Sons’ [is] signing up for a three-year commitment to certification shows a dedication to strengthening consumer commitment and retailer sales in the sweet onion category.”

The 6th International Conference for Food Safety and Quality in Chicago is just around the corner and DeltaTRAK is pleased to announce they will be participating in the event. The company is presenting their innovative new bacterial enzyme detection technology. FlashCheck Bacterial Enzyme Detection assays test for hazardous levels of bacterial contamination. The low cost screening tool allows users to test more frequently, resulting in increased success rates for catching the contamination before it reaches the consumer. Where most culture and PCR assays require 12 and 48 hours to complete and the need for outside resources, DeltaTRAK's technology combine low cost, and less time to complete.
