Red Blossom is welcoming its latest addition to the company, Greg Phelan. He will serve as the new Santa Maria District Manager. He has worked for companies such as Bien Nacido Vineyards and Solomon Hills Vineyards. Phelan said quote, “I look forward to joining the Red Blossom team and continuing to provide quality strawberries from Santa Maria.” Congratulations Greg!

Cecelia Packing is hoping to shine some light on eating healthy, with its new bright and colorful children’s character named “Dimples!” “Dimples” will start to appear on the company’s Golden Nugget Mandarin Orange packaging this month. The idea is to make eating healthy exciting. Sales Manager, Randy Jacobson, stated “Our goal is to get kids to eat more fruit, and introducing Dimples is a delicious and fun way to accomplish that.”

Duda Farm Fresh Foods and the Florida Department of Citrus are cooking up a great promotion for shoppers! A coupon for a free Florida Citrus cookbook will be included on Florida Citrus bags. Senior Vice President of Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Mark Bassetti, stated, “Offering a free Florida citrus cookbook is a convenient way for consumers to explore the variety of options our citrus products provide.” The coupons will be included on Dandy brand Florida oranges, tangerines and grapefruit. The cookbook has 34 recipes.
