Sun World and the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District are participating in a special event. The partnership will be expanding their "Salad Bars in Schools" campaign to program to Tevis Jr.High students. To commemorate the occasion, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the school to kick off the new fresh and healthy, salad bar lunch program made possible by a generous donation made by the local grower Sun World. The salad bar donation is one of Sun World's many gestures of support for the "Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools" initiative, which was established in part by the United Fresh Produce Association.
