Tanimura & Antle, Inc. is donating to two worthy platforms that offer healthy school lunch programs. The donations will allow Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools to present new salad bars in five schools in the U.S., and the Canadian Produce Marketing Association to give the Freggie Friday™ In-School Program curriculum to ten Canadian elementary schools. Dr. Lorelei DiSogra, United Fresh VP of Nutrition and Health, states, “To date, Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools has donated salad bars to over 1,035 schools in 45 states, thanks to generous contributions from companies like Tanimura & Antle.” Ron Lemaire, President of the CPMA adds that the Freggie programs, "...are initiatives that we at CPMA are very proud of. We’re encouraged by Tanimura & Antle’s support which will enable us to continue to challenge Canadian kids and affect behavior change early.”

Pure Hot House Foods Inc. has had an amazing 2011 with a 25% increase in new business, the successful opening of the company's new San Antonio location and the addition of new positions within the company's ranks. Besides the new San Antonio staff a Warehouse Manager and an Import Coordinator have been added at their Taylor, Michigan facility, as well as a Food Safety Coordinator and an Assistant Director of Marketing at their Leamington, Ontario head office.
