CMI: Ambrosia, Kanzi & Kiku Apples at Southern Exposure 2011

We caught up with Bob Mast, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Columbia Marketing International, at this year's Southern Exposure trade show. Bob gave us a "taste tour" of three of CMI's apple varieties: Ambrosia, Kanzi and Kiku. Ambrosia apples have a distinct honeyed and slightly perfumed flavor. This is a limited production apple and not available all year. The Kanzi hails from the Netherlands, and is a semi-tart apple with "bold flavor".
