Deanne Cagnacci, Product Development Manager, discusses the heirloom red romaine, a "beautiful" addition to the company's leafy green varieties. Also coming on line for the Salinas grower/packer/shipper is the heirloom red and green butter lettuce - offering a fim texture and fresh taste. With several different pack sizes to choose from, foodservice customers are understandably anxious to sample these new additions.
