Monterey Mushrooms Welcomes Jill Moran and Dana Giacone to its Sales Staff
WATSONVILLE, CA - Doubling down on its commitment to excellent customer service and sales, Monterey Mushrooms is strengthening its team with a few company shifts. Jill Moran will be promoted to National Customer Service Manager and Dana Giacone will join as Sales Manager of Southern California, Arizona, and Hawaii.
Moran began her tenure with Monterey Mushrooms in 1991 in the accounting department, working her way into the sales department in 2005 as the Western Region Customer Service Manager.
In her new role as National Customer Service Manager, Moran is responsible for maintaining effective customer service for all external Monterey Mushrooms customers. The company says she will be tasked with developing best practices for her department, as well as establishing uniform customer service practices for use in all company farms.
"The customer service team is the voice of Monterey Mushrooms to our customers,” shared Mike O’Brien, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "The customer service team, under the leadership of Jill Moran, will play a leadership role in communicating to customers, as well as operations and sales regarding new projects, best practices, and new items, following them though to execution. These are key resources for the sales team."
Giacone, the new Sales Manager of Southern California, Arizona, and Hawaii, has extensive sales management and business development experience working with retailers, wholesalers, foodservice distributors, and operators on regional and national levels. “It is exciting to be working with the market leader in the expanding mushroom category. I’m looking forward to being part of a great team focused on customers.”
Giacone will report to Kevin Eichele, Western Sales Director, who said, “We are thrilled to have a professional with Dana’s background join our team. We look forward to working with her to identify new business opportunities in the very important Southern California market.”
