ATLANTA, GA - While there isn’t a golf course that will take me, this is still a cause I am getting behind. Slated for Cinco de Mayo 2015, the group at the SEPC is kicking off its 2nd annual SEPC Terry Vorhees Charity Golf Classic to honor the late Executive Director for the Southeast Produce Council and true industry visionary.

This year's event benefits the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta and will bring together old friends, new relationships, a silent auction, casino night, a Cinco de Mayo bash, live music, and of course… the game of golf.

Tommy Wilkins, Director of Sales and Business Development, Grow Farms TexasTommy Wilkins, Director of Sales and Business Development, Grow Farms Texas, tells me, "As chair of this wonderful event, I invite all to fulfill Terry Vorhees' dream of a Charity Golf event to continue building industry relationships and further our outreach into the communities we serve. You do not have to venture very far down the halls of a Children’s Hospital to see how our blessings will change a family’s life."

The tournament will be a scramble format, held at Atlanta National Golf Club. Atlanta National Golf Club is a revered golf retreat situated in the rolling hills, gentle streams, and horse farms of the Crabapple community. Atlanta National encourages walking, offers a caddie program and features a dynamic and scenic 18-hole Pete and P.B. Dye course.

The tournament has a variety of sponsorship opportunities available and registration for individual players as well as teams. Any sponsorship for the golf tournament will be added to the total company sponsorship level for the year.

Join me in supporting this event and the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta!
