Hurst's Berry Farm: Fresh Berries

Monday, January 9th, 2012

Welcome to this episode of What's In Store. HBF International is ensuring a sweet start to the new year with its premium-quality fresh berries. The company's berries are doing quite a bit of travelling this season, with blackberries and raspberries making their niches in the produce section of Ralphs' stores in Southern California. The popular blackberry is also crossing state lines into Phoenix, Arizona's Safeway stores packaged in 5.6, 6.0 and 12 ounce clamshells. The raspberries are offered in clamshells, available in both 6 and 12 ounce sizes. Hurst's Berry Farms anti-oxidant packed blueberries boast a range of volumes from 4.4 to 16 ounce clamshells. The leading fresh-berry shipper in the Northwest, Hurst's provides berry varietals year round and is currently shipping high volumes of the produce direct from Mexico to Europe. In Mexico's warmer climate, the company farms over 450 acres in the states of Michoacan, Jalisco and Colima where it grows red raspberries, blackberries and blueberries from October through May. Thank you for joining And Now U Know, for this episode of What's In Store.
