Market Fresh Produce Appoints Ray Rollison as Director of Procurement
NIXA, MO – Placing further focus on its supply chain, Market Fresh Produce has tapped an industry veteran to help lead operations. The company announced it has appointed Ray Rollison as Director of Procurement.
Under his new role, Ray will be responsible for the supply of products essential to Market Fresh’s operations. He will also strategize to find the most cost-effective deals and suppliers, manage assigned staff, and discover the best ways to minimize procurement expenses. Most recently, Ray worked at Harvested Here Food Hub, according to a press release.
Ray brings more than 25 years of leadership to this position, with experience gained in merchandising, organizational development, sourcing, and sales planning. Ray has worked at a number of grocery industry corporations in a myriad of positions, for chains like Harvest Foods, SuperValu, Shop ‘n Save, C&S Wholesale Grocers, and Country Fresh.
The company noted Ray is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Management at Liberty University. Ray will be working from the company’s Nixa campus, and will report directly to the Senior Director of Supply Chain RJ Knese.
