As noted in the release, Mission Produce uses the Art of Ripening to expertly ripen avocados and mangos to the right stage for the recipe. Mission creates customer-tailored ripening programs, offering world-class service and order flexibility, including deliveries seven days a week, accommodation for last-minute order changes, and multi-stage shipments.

“We’re committed to getting the ripeness right,” added Johnson. “Whether your menu calls for avocados to slice and dice, or mash and smash, we’ve got you covered with high-quality, presentation-ready fruit.”

Mission is vertically integrated in Peru, with nearly 10,000 acres of avocados and mangos. By owning the fruit, noted the release, Mission can provide enhanced product reliability and quality oversight from field to fork. In addition, Mission's Peruvian program brings added convenience to the customer—by setting their summer season with Mission, customers can count on set pricing and scheduling.
