Boskovich Fresh Food Group Subsidiary Launches Fair Earth Farms Line; Deep Silver Comments

OXNARD, CA - I might not be Santa, but I am making my list and checking it twice as I head into the Organic Produce Summit this week. One name I’m adding to my list comes from Boskovich Fresh Food Group subsidiary Fresh Prep, which is launching its new Fair Earth Farms line of organic salad kits and salad blends with sustainable packaging.

Deep Silver, Senior Marketing Director, Fresh Prep and Boskovich Family Farms“Consumers have been asking for a more sustainable solution to the plastic crisis facing our planet and we’ve heard them loud and clear,” said Deep Silver, Senior Marketing Director at Fresh Prep and Boskovich Family Farms. “We invite our customers to assist us in building a more sustainable future with Fair Earth Farms’ disruptive, first-of-its-kind fully compostable packaging. Consumers can now not only feel good about what they are putting in their bodies, but how they’re helping the planet as well.”

The new SKUs come in plant-based, fully compostable bags, printed using water-based inks that will break down into rich, organic soil—a patent pending packaging design. Fair Earth Farms is the next chapter for Boskovich, focusing on fresh produce coupled with a renewed commitment to sustainable innovation within the category.

Boskovich Fresh Food Group subsidiary Fresh Prep will be showing off its newly launched Fair Earth Farms line of organic salad kits and salad blends with sustainable packaging at this year's OPS

With chef-driven flavors and recipes creatively developed with Chef Andrew Hunter (of Wolfgang Puck, Niman Ranch, and Kikkoman R&D fame), Fair Earth Farms delivers products that are unique with clean, fresh, and craveable ingredients, a press release explained. The USDA-Certified Organic line offers two salad kit flavors—Superfood Crunch and Honey Coconut Cashew—and four salad greens blends, Baby Spinach, Baby Arugula, Spring Mix, and Power Greens.

Fair Earth Farms is also a member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition and is certified through the Biodegradable Products Institute. To help customers further when it comes to composting, Fair Earth Farms will have a How2Compost label as well.

Be sure to swing by booth #616 to get a closer look at this impressive lineup.
