SAN ANTONIO, TX - As the company primes for another year of strong financial growth, NatureSweet® Tomatoes has announced that it will bring on seasoned financial executive Bo Meissner as its new Chief Financial Officer.

"I can't imagine a more exciting time to join NatureSweet," Meissner said upon his appointment. "I believe the potential for growth is tremendous, given the smart and passionate people at NatureSweet along with the strong product portfolio. I am confident that we can develop and execute plans to drive consistent sales and profit expansion for many years." 

After 30 years of experience in both the realms of financial and strategic business analysis for consumer products, Meissner is well-poised to take on his new role. Meissner spent eight years with natural foods giant, Boulder Brands, where he most recently held the position of Senior Vice President Finance and Treasury.

"Bo brings a depth of experience to his role as leader of our financial team," explained NatureSweet CEO and President, Bryant Ambelang. "He is extremely well-suited to help guide NatureSweet through the emerging economy of the produce industry while accelerating growth and reinforcing our commitment to the delivery of exceptional and affordable produce." 

Prior to his time at NatureSweet and Boulder Brands, Meissner had served in a variety of finance and accounting roles with Procter & Gamble throughout the U.S, Canada, and Europe. According to a press release, he also worked at Dr. Pepper Snapple (formerly Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages), where he was Commercial Finance Leader of the $1.8 billion non-carbonated beverage business, and Head of Finance supporting the sales organization.
