CASTROVILLE, CA - Ocean Mist^® Farms recently named a new fresh produce leader to its team as it continues to bolster its ranks with industry experts. Jesse Lopez will become the artichoke grower’s newest Commodity Account Manager.

“I’m excited to be joining the Ocean Mist Farms team, and I look forward to working with one of the leading commodity shippers in California,” remarked Lopez in a release in regards to his appointment.

In this new role, Lopez will handle key retail and wholesale accounts and work with promotion and pricing, all of which touch many aspects of the business. Lopez was previously an Account Manager and Director of Business Development with Tanimura & Antle. He was with the company for 15 years.

At Ocean Mist, Lopez will work closely with Joe Angelo and the rest of the sales team, as well as current Commodity, Field, and Harvest Managers.

“We are glad to have someone of Jesse’s caliber join our team,” said Angelo, Director of Sales. “With his veteran experience, he will add immediate strength and value to our team.”
