Weis Markets Appoints Michael T. Lockard as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer



SUNBURY, PA - 2021 appears to be the year of leadership appointments, as Weis Markets too has announced its newest Chief. Michael T. Lockard will be joining the retailer’s ranks as its new Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer. He is succeeding Scott Frost, who has decided to retire.

According to a press release, he has spent the majority of his career overseeing strategic planning, finance and accounting, information technology, and global shared services.

To ensure a smooth transition, Scott Frost will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer until March 12 of this year, after which Lockard will assume his new roles. As CFO, he will oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s accounting, auditing, and financial functions and will report directly to Jonathan Weis.
