LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - Allen Lund Company has announced further growth both in size and leadership with a new office in Cincinnati, Ohio, its second in the state.

To manage this latest location, the company has appointed 14-year logistics veteran Jon Manning.

"It's a great opportunity to start a branch and it's rare to see this chance ever come along. Allen Lund is such a fantastic company to work for, and it now has a home in Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm extremely proud to work here,” Jon said, according to a press release.

David Lund, Vice President of Sales and Branch Operations, commented, "I am excited that ALC will be opening our second office in Ohio. Jon Manning has grown up in the Cincinnatti/Dayton area and brings a wealth of local knowledge with him. He understands all the facets of transportation and will provide a great service to our customers. Jon will build a team that will provide the highest level of transportation service to the Cincinnati/Dayton business community.”

A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Jon holds a B.A.C. degree in Communications. He joined the logistics industry in 2002, starting in a transportation sales role and moving up from there.

He is currently working to open up the new office, which is slated to start up on May 2, 2016.

This is the most recent step in the company's continued growth. In recent months ALC announced the opening of a new office in Greenville, South Carolina, as wells as moves to grow its Transportation Management Software.
