Ben E. Keith Foods Honors Lipman Family Farms on 38th Annual Supplier Appreciation Day
FORT WORTH, TX - Ben E. Keith Foods has dropped the 2020 Supplier of the Year awards lineup, and one of our own has rounded out the list, being recognized as top produce supplier of the year. Lipman Family Farms was recognized at the 38th Annual Supplier Appreciation Day, held virtually on October 5. Lipman joins a group of other distinguished suppliers across several other industries in receiving the honor.
“This year’s produce award winner is an indispensable partner of Ben E. Keith. We knew we were partnering with a great company, and their actions during this pandemic have only further illustrated just how valuable they are to our success,” Wes Holcomb, Corporate Category Director of Produce and Dairy, stated in the video. “It gives me great pleasure to announce Lipman Family Farms as the recipient of this year’s produce award.”
While Lipman Family Farms nabbed the top spot as for Produce Supplier, the press release noted Schreiber Foods was named Ben E. Keith Foods' 2020 Supplier of the Year.

“[Lipman does] a fantastic job selling us high-quality products and keeping us in supply even when markets are extremely tight. Their value as a partner is so much more than the transaction,” Holcomb continued. “They’re a key component of our produce training programs and also are highly valued in helping us with creative logistic solutions. They have also been instrumental in helping us with annual promotions to drive case growth.”
