Bobalu Berry Farms Expands Partnerships at PMA Fresh Summit
OXNARD, CA - The return of the autumn season brings to mind several things to look forward to for this trade news writer: bountiful fall produce, holiday spirits, chilly California air, and Produce Marketing Association’s (PMA) Fresh Summit! As we near the launch of the virtual event, growers like Bobalu Berry Farms are getting their gameplans finalized. For the berry grower itself, that game plan includes expanding partnerships and incorporating cutting-edge advantages.
“We are really excited about the opportunity to tell our company story and connect buyers with our leadership at Fresh Summit,” says Anthony Gallino, Vice President of Sales. “Not only are we looking forward to meeting with buyers, but also growers and service providers while also discovering new technology that we can benefit from. With this convention going virtual, we now have the ability to feature our new digital assets on a platform that is easily accessible to everyone that comes to visit us.”
Fresh Summit’s convenient platform allows attendees, from buyers to sellers, to meet on the same virtual playing field and have discussions in real-time. With the event now held online, Bobalu is able to easily share video content, digital fact sheets, and showcase the sales and leadership team. The platform also allows Bobalu to hold online meetings with attendees keen on learning about the grower’s 2021 strawberry program, which then allows Bobalu to discover new avenues to bolster its berry operations.
To bring a personal touch to the digital sphere, Bobalu will be featuring a video of Co-Founders Bobby and RC Jones at its virtual booth. Attendees can watch the berry-growing leaders share their passion for the company and hopes for the future.
“We have spent all summer working toward becoming fully integrated and creating digital assets that tell our story. Our team has held strategic planning meetings to provide a new mission and a path forward for the company that we can’t wait to showcase at Fresh Summit,” Athony tells me. “We are excited about being part of this Summit, meeting with our buyers to finalize programs for 2021, and we are looking forward to seeing new and old friends virtually this year.”
With expansion and growth at the grower’s fingertips, the virtual game will be one to watch come October 13. Keep checking back to ANUK as we report on all things fresh produce.
