CARLISLE, PA - The GIANT Company is breaking ground on three new stores as it expands its presence in its home base of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As it continues to enact its growth strategies, the new locations will open in Columbus Boulevard, Doylestown, and the Fashion District in December.

Kevin Bane, a grocery veteran with 16 years of experience has been appointed Store Manager of the Columbus Boulevard store, which stands at 46,000 square feet. At this store, customers will find expanded product variety within GIANT’S signature fresh departments such as farm fresh garden produce. A press release noted that new offerings include a dedicated plant-based section and the convenience of a Beer & Wine Eatery.

Doylestown customers will find a larger space of 72,500 square feet, with an expanded product assortment across its signature fresh departments. The new store will also feature a superfood café, Frutta Bowl.

Alan Carcifi, a grocery veteran with nearly 30 years of experience will continue to serve as Store Manager of the new Doylestown store.

The GIANT store opening in the Fashion District will be under the company’s Heirloom Market banner, marking the company’s fourth GIANT Heirloom Market in Philadelphia.

The new 32,000-square-foot Fashion District GIANT Heirloom Market will feature local produce and plant-based foods and will celebrate local partnerships with Philadelphia-area food purveyors.

Each of the new locations will feature an expanded product assortment across its signature fresh departments, including local produce offerings and plant-based foods

With 18 years of grocery experience, Nick Meyer has been appointed Store Manager of the Fashion District GIANT Heirloom Market.

The Columbus location is set to open on Friday, December 3, followed by Doylestown on December 10, and the Fashion District on December 16.
