Grimmway Farms Joins USDA Secretary Perdue at the New York Stock Exchange



NEW YORK, NY - The New York Stock Exchange was living la vida produce this week! Grimmway Farms President Jeff Huckaby along with the United States Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue represented the produce industry at the New York Stock Exchange and together participated in ringing the opening bell.

Jeff Huckaby, President, Grimmway Farms“It was a pleasure to join Secretary Perdue and others as he rang the bell yesterday morning,” said Huckaby. “I was honored to take part in this long-standing tradition and pleased to see the NYSE take the time to highlight the importance of agriculture in our nation.”

In addition to Secretary Perdue and Huckaby, other agriculture executives, guests, and two members of the New York Future Farmers of America were in attendance. According to a press release, the New York Stock Exchange welcomed Secretary Perdue to profile the future of agriculture in America.
