New JackBe Grocery Chain Launches in Oklahoma; Alex Ruhter Shares

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - A new retail player is making its presence known in the state of Oklahoma, as grocery chain JackBe recently hosted an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new store in Oklahoma City.

Alex Ruhter, Chief Executive Officer, JackBe Grocer"For the vast majority of people, grocery shopping can be a burden, and so what we’re able to do is provide on-demand access to fresh groceries," said Alex Ruhter, Chief Executive Officer of JackBe Grocer.

Harnessing the massive popularity of grocery pickup, the new grocery store is a curbside drive-thru-only location where shoppers can order online through an app and pick up their groceries within minutes.

Following the store’s opening, JackBe has plans to expand to other metro locations this year, with more expansions in the works after that, according to KOCO 5 News.

With customers only experiencing the store through a drive-thru, JackBe aims to provide an unmatched customer experience, with a central focus on fresh.

"Customers are not able to enter our store, so what we have to provide is excellent customer service focused on produce," Ruhter said.

Will this innovative grocery format soon be gaining steam across the United States? Time and AndNowUKnow will surely tell.
