THERMAL, CA – Grower and packer of premium culinary herbs, North Shore, announced last week that it has hired Greg Mooney as its new Director of Sales.

Mooney will be responsible for driving the company’s overall sales and pushing the company’s business development strategy forward. According to a press release, North Shore is currently in the process of expanding growing capacity to meet growing demand for living produce.

“Greg brings to North Shore Sales & Marketing perspective from both a retailer as well as grower,” said North Shore Vice President Suzette Overgaag. “He has a solid understanding of the business and we are so excited to have him on our team.”

Mooney brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to his new role, with time spent in sales, analytics, and produce category management—including stints in key positions at Kroger, Fresh Express/Chiquita, and Dole.
