Ultimate accuracy and speed went to Calavo’s Sandy Eason, who claimed the avocado crown with the fastest time and a perfect score for $100 cash.
As someone truly California grown, and therefore an avid avocado fan, I’d like to give a bow to many who showcased green thinking by making top contender like Monterey Mushroom’s Mike O’Brien, Sobeys’ Jim Bower, Blue Apron’s Darren St. Thomas, To-Jo Mushrooms’ Pete Wilder, and Renaissance Food Group’s Rachelle Schulken.
