SANTA MARIA, CA - As we get over the first Wednesday of June, Bobalu brings us some berry good news. The California-based grower is giving us an inside look at its supplies as we prepare ourselves for a hot summer and holidays on the horizon.

“We have finally made it to June! Since Oxnard has shifted into processing, we are focused now on this region and a nice long summer season ahead,” noted the company in its latest release. “Our strawberry ranches are on the west side along the coast, so our volume will extend well into the fall, and we look forward to continued beautiful fruit.”

The company continued, noting it has the typical morning and evening marine layer, which keeps the soil and plants cool and helps produce great fruit with large sizing, full color, and excellent flavor.

Daily and weekly volume should peak this month and provide sustained volume for the next several weeks. This news comes at a great time as Father’s Day is just around the corner with the Fourth of July soon to follow.

Luckily, Bobalu expects a good supply for the upcoming holidays ahead along with graduation celebrations and other gatherings.
