H-E-B Expands Footprint Across Several Markets; Stephen Butt, Juan-Carlos Rück, Armando Perez, and Lisa Helfman Comment



TEXAS - Everything is bigger in Texas, including H-E-B, as the retailer has unveiled three new stores and renovations to one of its locations. Recently, the grocery chain opened the doors to its newest stores in Willis, Magnolia, and Plano, Texas, offering shoppers access to a wide variety of unique offerings and services.

In addition to the new Plano H-E-B, we’re also opening two new locations in the Houston area on the same day, adding to our strong network of stores.”

Continuing to expand its reach in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, H-E-B’s new 118,000-square-foot store features a produce section with large organic and Texas-grown sections, an impressive floral department that offers online ordering and delivery, fresh in-store prepared meals, and more.

Partners are the heart of our company and are committed to providing a fun, exciting shopping experience for Plano customers.”

The retailer also opened the doors to its first location in Willis and its Magnolia store. Both locations sit at 112,000 square feet and feature H-E-B Meal Simple, curbside pick-up, home delivery, and innovative checkout options.

Armando Perez, Executive Vice President, Houston, H-E-B“Our Houston Region remains a vibrant priority for H-E-B, and we continue to make significant investments expanding our footprint to serve all of our neighbors,” said Armando Perez, Executive Vice President, H-E-B Houston. “H-E-B opened its first store in Houston more than 20 years ago. Since then, we have expanded into communities from Lake Jackson to Huntsville and Katy to Beaumont. With the opening of the second store in Magnolia and our first to open in Willis, we have grown to 93 locations creating more than 33,000 jobs.”

Other unique features of these stores include a large assortment of Texas-made products and a variety of local Texas-grown produce.

As H-E-B held grand openings for these locations, it also unveiled renovations made to its Red Bud & Gattis School H-E-B in Round Rock.
