KEASBEY, NJ - The Fresh Grocer, which joined Wakefern Food in 2013, is expanding its footprint with the addition of four stores operated by Nicholas Markets. The stores, which operate under the name Foodtown, will transition to The Fresh Grocer banner this month. This news comes after Wakefern's anncouncement in October of last year that it was adding Nicholas Markets to its portfolio.

These new store locations, all of which are based in New Jersey, will mark The Fresh Grocer’s first entrance into the Garden State. The additional units brings the banner’s total store count to 12.
