In 1990 the Shropshire Family bought a small and neglected beet factory. Over the next 10 years they set about turning the company around, introducing a process of continuous improvement and innovation in both their product range and production techniques (a process which is still going today). In the late 1990’s they discovered a great taste could be achieved by infusing cooked Beets in delicately balanced marinades. The result was a surge in popularity with British people and in particular, younger age groups.
Growing, Cooking, Peeling and Marinating fresh beets is a difficult process to master and the recipes and techniques used today are the result of more than ten years of development. The Shropshire Family is bringing its very best recipes to the United States of America.
