Performance Produce Names Albert Ramirez as Vice President of Sales
SALISBURY, NC - Performance Produce Family of Farms, a grower/shipper produce company that offers distribution, repacking, inspections, and warehouse space, has just named produce and grocery vet Albert Ramirez as its Vice President of Sales.

They trust my integrity, my loyalty, hard work and determination-- from the farmers to my employers and partners all the way to the consumer,” Ramirez said in a press release. “I'm looking forward to a long-term opportunity with my new friends and family at Performance Produce.”
With 30 years of experience in grocery and produce distribution, Ramirez brings to the table a vast portfolio of store positions, including having worked with independent Chicago grocer owner JR Grocery, Fleming International, Super Valu International, Brooks Tropicals, and Ramz Corp.
Having followed in his father Oniel Ramirez’s footsteps, Ramirez said he was taught early on about hard work and responsibility.
In this newest position, Ramirez will be in charge of sales and new business development, according to Performance Produce President J.R. Roach, who describes the company’s farm model as one that offers partnerships with farmers.
“We put up the money and before we do anything, we lay out the cost and projections,” Roach said, according to a statement. “We make everything from the seed to the final sale transparent. This is a win-win business opportunity for the farmers and for our company.”
With locations in both North Carolina and Florida, Performance Produce LLC began operations in 2007 and has a combined 115 years of experience in the produce industry.
