Moxxy Marketing Celebrates its 11th Anniversary
SALINAS, CA - Moxxy Marketing has announced its 11th anniversary as a full-service marketing agency.
"Why an 11th anniversary?" asked Karen Nardozza, Moxxy Co-Founder, President, and CEO. "Here at Moxxy, we like to zig when others zag. Anyone can celebrate a 10th anniversary. So, while we only briefly acknowledged our 10th, we’re celebrating our 11th."
Moxxy opened its doors in Salinas, California in 2007. Since its inception, Moxxy has provided clients with marketing planning, creative strategy, branding, packaging design, PR, website design, and advertising creative in all media, including digital, print, video, social, and radio. Today, Moxxy is known as an industry leader in marketing agriculture, produce, organic and fresh food, wine, flowers, cannabis, and agriculture services brands.
Moxxy’s current client list includes brands such as AgroLinks, Berry People, Big Creek Lumber, Braga Fresh, Duncan Family Farms, I Love Produce, Josie’s Organics, Joullian Vineyards, Muzzi Family Farms, Organic Produce Network, Peterson Farms, SmartWash Solutions, Smith Family Wines, Tanimura & Antle, Uesugi Farms, Vegetable Growers Supply, Wawona Packing, and many others. The agency has built a reputation for helping multigenerational brands modernize and tell their story. Moxxy is also well-known in developing the right messages for companies to connect with their audience and stand out, even for those whose business may be technically complex or commoditized.
"It’s gratifying to look back over the past eleven years to see all that we’ve accomplished," said Nardozza. "Our goal from day one was to do something different—to build a world-class marketing agency here in my hometown of Salinas. I left the area decades ago thinking I needed to work in New York or Atlanta to be at a great firm. After many years of doing just that, I asked myself, ‘Why not build my dream agency in Salinas?’ And that’s what we set out to do."
From the beginning, Moxxy found inspiration and opportunity in the brands and businesses that flourish in the Salinas Valley: agriculture, organic and fresh food, wine, flowers, grower-shippers, and now cannabis. Those same industries continue to provide fertile partnerships for the agency, including large brands, startup brands and nonprofit brands on the regional, national and international levels. While helping brands grow, Moxxy focuses on opportunities for staff growth too. The agency offers ongoing education, leadership development and networking programs for employees, and routinely promotes from within.
"Growing any business is hard work," said Vice President Molly Briseño. "But Moxxy, like our name implies, has been driven by determination and nerve. Over the past eleven years we’ve helped hundreds of companies build meaningful connections with their customers, consumers, community and industry. We’ve helped startups launch their brands. And we’ve created a supportive and inspiring workplace culture."
Part of the agency’s growth includes the opening of their second office in Atlanta, Georgia, which was announced in June of this year. Moxxy’s headquarters remains in Salinas.
