Hazel Tech® Announces Delma Heileman as Director of Sales- Retail; Kelly Hale Comments
CHICAGO, IL - It is so enthralling to see a new team member’s values align with their new employer’s. In the produce industry, we have the chance to witness this often. One such meeting of the minds has taken place for Hazel Technologies, which recently named Delma Heileman as the new Director of Sales- Retail.

Heileman joins the Hazel Tech team with over 30 years of account management experience in the produce industry, a press release stated. She experienced progressive career advancement during her time working with Chiquita, which was critical to building her diverse skillset and global network. There, Heileman was promoted five times throughout the company’s sales divisions, generating revenue across multiple commodities including avocados, grapes, stonefruit, melons, and pineapple.
The release noted that Heileman’s successful sales strategies secured her the role of Southeast Regional Sales Customer Manager and later National Account Manager at Fresh Express, where she managed sales activities at Kroger, Albertsons, and other retail and wholesale customers for the value-added salads and healthy snacking segments. She also previously served as Director Retail Sales at Fresh Food Group. At Hazel, Heileman will lead the North American retail sector and promote programs to extend the shelf-life of fresh produce.
