Loblaw Builds Meal Solutions Division
CANADA - Meal prepping, meal kits, meal solutions—all of these analogous words are shaping up to represent one of the biggest trends of the 21st century. Consumers across North America seek out easier dining options, just as most of them struggle to maintain an optimal work-life balance. As this continues, retailers have stepped into the ring to present shoppers with time-saving effort. According to several job postings, Loblaw is now seeking out its own corner of this market, as it looks to staff out a new meal solutions division.

While Loblaw already has its own meal kit pilot project under its President's Choice brand, the retailer's latest moves positions it well to conquer the Canadian meal kit market with a unique strategy unforeseen in other retailers' leadership and business structures.
