SAN BERNARDINO, CA – Last week, Southern California supermarket chain Stater Bros. Markets announced changes to its leadership team, including the promotions of Dan Meyer, Keith Thomas, and Tom Seaton, effective January 15, 2018. These changes leverage the expertise and experience of key management members to guide and ensure the company’s continued success.

Dan Meyer will assume the role of Executive Vice President of Distribution, in which he will oversee the entire operation of Stater Bros. Distribution Division, including the company’s 2.1-million-square-foot Norton Distribution Center and the Transportation and Fleet Maintenance departments. As a member of the Stater Bros. "family" for 46 years, during which time he served as the Executive Vice President of Retail Operations, Meyer, with his extensive retail operations knowledge, has been critical to Stater Bros.’ supply chain management efforts. In his new role he will continue as an instrumental member of the company’s Executive Management Team.

In his 37-years with Stater Bros., and counting, Keith Thomas has steadily progressed through a range of retail store and district supervision roles; he most recently served as the Regional Vice President of Retail Operations. Thomas is now being promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Retail Operations, due to Dan Meyer’s promotion. In his new position, Thomas will be responsible for overseeing the entire retail operations of all 171 Stater Bros. supermarket locations. Thomas also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Western Association of Food Chains (WAFC).

Tom Seaton has been a part of Stater Bros. for 40 years, and is being promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Administration in which position he will oversee the company’s Administration Division, which includes Human Resources, Labor Relations, Insurance, Workers’ Compensation, Support Services and Office Services Departments. Seaton currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the California Grocers Association Educational Foundation and was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Redlands’ School of Business.
