Amaize™ Sweet Corn Returns to Retail Shelves for 10th Season; George Crookham Comments
CALDWELL, ID - Celebrating a decade around our sun is Amaize™ Sweet Corn—and it wants to bring everybody into the action. Amaize has a bevy of fun releases to get the party going, including a new logo and an updated website to better align with consumers.
“It is amazing when we put the corn in front of people, and they take a bite of it, that they really do agree this is the best corn they’ve ever eaten,” George Crookham, Founder of “The Colonel of Corn” and Chief Executive Officer of Crookham Company. “That is how I know that this variety has truly extraordinary corn flavor.”
Ready just in time for those backyard barbecues and summer gatherings, Amaize is a delicious and natural breed of sweet corn noted for its taste and crunchy texture. It is only available during the warm summer months and is now available or will be available soon in select grocery stores across the country, including Harps Food Stores, Tops Friendly Markets, Reasor’s, Lunds and Byerlys, and Raley’s Supermarkets.
Amaize is celebrating its 10th season with a new logo and a revamped website, which should be completed by next season. Shoppers will also see new and improved packaging, signage, and social media. Amaize Sweet Corn is grown nationwide, which allows for the corn to be local in each region it is sold. Much of the corn is grown in Idaho, Florida, Minnesota, and the Northeast, noted the release.
