DALLAS, TX - With the Super Bowl a few short weeks away, food providers from across the supply chain are revving up their marketing efforts to take advantage of the massive advertising opportunities the event provides. This year, Avocados From Mexico (AFM) is partnering with Bud Light and Cholula to bring back its Guac Nation promotion for the second year. Guac Nation encourages consumers to embrace the many ways avocados can be used at Super Bowl parties. From January 2 through February 4, shoppers will have the chance to purchase the ultimate party pack to spice up their game day celebrations.

The Super Bowl attracts an average of 112 million viewers, and in 2019, 44 million parties were hosted, according to a press release. The event is one of the leading days in avocado consumption—nearly 300 million avocados are consumed during the game.

Between January 2 and February 4, shoppers will have access to Avocados From Mexico’s Guac Nation promotion

AFM’s Guac Nation campaign takes advantage of the avocado hype and with partners Cholula and Bud Light, the provider offers up exceptional pairing through in-store rebates and sweepstakes, POS displays, and branded bins. The multifaceted campaign provides the perfect opportunity to craft the ultimate game day food experience.

Throughout the Guac Nation promotion, shoppers can participate in a digital sweepstakes or text “GUAC” to 48-811 for the chance to win a $500 gift card tied to WorthEveryMoment.com, a digital landing page home to avocado Big Game recipes. Shoppers will also have access to in-store rebate offers, including an $8 rebate on the purchase of one 12- or larger-pack of Bud Light, three AVM avocados, and one 5- or larger-ounce bottle of Cholula Hot Sauce.

AFM has also integrated enterprise marketing technology platform MikMak, to add e-commerce capabilities to all its media. MikMak lets consumers buy avocados directly from digital and social media and allows AFM to better understand its customers by connecting digital investments to online retailer insights.
