Canadian Produce Marketing Association Announces 2023 Passion for Produce Participants Ahead of Annual Convention and Trade Show; Ron Lemaire Shares

OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA - Passion for produce is definitely something that runs deep in our industry, and the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) has turned the spotlight on 18 rising produce stars for its 2023 Passion for Produce (PFP) program. During the association’s three-day annual Convention and Trade Show, the program participants will align with industry members for valuable interactive sessions, networking events, and more.

Ron Lemaire, President, Canadian Produce Marketing Association“We are thrilled to have so many rising stars from some of the leading companies within our industry,” said Ron Lemaire, CPMA President. “PFP provides mentoring and education in a fast-paced but fun setting where participants learn through targeted mentoring sessions and networking events. This program also gives participants the opportunity to increase their knowledge beyond the scope of their current role within the industry.”

PFP participants gain knowledge through first-hand experiences, discussions, and networking that empowers them to return to work with an enriched understanding and renewed enthusiasm for the produce industry, a recent press release explained. Participants are given the opportunity to develop long-lasting relationships with mentors, fellow candidates, and other industry leaders to help guide them through their careers.
