CHELAN, WA – After a year that brought Chelan Fresh significant growth and saw the company merge with organic-focused grower, packer, shipper Columbia Valley Fruit, Chelan Fresh’s organics program is healthier than ever—boasting new products and expanded acreage.

To find out more about the program and the company’s burgeoning Cascade Crest Organics brand, I spoke to Kevin Stennes, Organic Sales Manager.

“We took on a new organic grower, packer, shipper this year that already had a lot of certified organic fruit,” Kevin explains. “We instantly doubled our organic program overnight.”

With a full lineup of organic apple varieties including staples like Honeycrisp, Gala, Fuji, Granny Smith, and Pink Lady, as well as some branded and heirloom varieties and even additional stone fruit varieties and a full manifest of pears, Chelan Fresh offers its retail partners everything they might need in an organic apple program.

And with the company’s Cascade Crest Organics brand, Chelan Fresh is offering its high-quality organic fruit in an on-trend, high-graphic package.

“We’ve got a new pouch bag program this year that’s our Cascade Crest Organics brand on the bag, and it’s the main apple and pear varieties that we do,” Kevin adds.

And with growers that can trace their roots back as many as five generations, Chelan is bringing family farming care to a greater and growing market.
