Good Foods Launches Guactoberfest Celebration Along With "Share the Love" Recipe Challenge

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI - I don’t know if it was being born and raised in California or the versatility of guacamole that entices me—whatever it is, the dip speaks to me on a different level. That is why I was ecstatic to hear that Good Foods is celebrating the delicious dip all October long with what it is calling Guactoberfest.” The month-long campaign will put the spotlight on the company’s lineup of guac, including its Chunky Guacamole, Spicy Guacamole, and Southwest Guacamole that are featured in both single-serve and party size, need I say more?

To honor the game-day staple, Good Foods is collaborating with football teams like the Wisconsin Badgers, Minneapolis Gophers, and Arkansas Razorbacks to encourage fans to indulge not only in the dip, but in the drawing and online games that the company has put together to honor the coveted food of fans everywhere.

In addition to partnering with the celebrated football teams, Good Foods is also teaming up with influencer partner, JazzyThings, to share new recipes and demonstrations on incorporating guacamole into meals. According to a press release, the company will also be partnering with retailers to host a series of social media giveaways and competitions, like its “Share the Love” recipe challenge.

“We have so many creative, loyal fans who use our products in inspiring ways and we can’t wait to see the recipe results from our contest,” added Bottomlee. “The ‘Share the Love’ challenge will highlight all the delicious recipes that are possible by using Good Foods products.”

Now through November 15, consumers are encouraged to enter the challenge to win cash prizes up to $1,000. Participants will be judged on four different categories including:

Additionally, $500 will be awarded to the “Tastiest Photo” from each category and to the “Fan Favorite,” as chosen by fans. Those who want to try their hand at the grand prize can enter here. For those who don’t feel quite as skilled in the kitchen, Good Foods is offering weekly prizes to 10 subscribers for its “Tasty Tidbits” prize packs valued at $150.
