Lipman Family Farms' Elyse Lipman Reflects on Company Growth and Shares Vision for the Future

IMMOKALEE, FL - One of our greatest assets in this industry is a leader who understands the value of their people and how that translates to the company culture. Elyse Lipman is one outstanding Chief Executive Officer that fits this bill, prioritizing the success of and fostering pride for Lipman Family Farms employees while pushing ahead in the grower’s industry achievement.

Elyse Lipman, Chief Executive Officer, Lipman Family Farms“As CEO, my main focus will always be on our people, who are the past, present, and future of our company. Today, we are in our 75th year as a company and our fourth generation of family ownership. The generations before me understood that investing in the best interest of the company meant investing in the best talent, which is a value I continue to uphold today,” Elyse shares.

Fully settling into her new role, Elyse has committed to tapping into the potential of Lipman’s people and fostering an environment for innovation and growth to meet the future needs of the produce supply chain.

“My role is to create runways for our best-in-class team of operators and problem-solvers to thrive while fostering a culture built on respect and winning as a team,” she adds.

Utilizing experience gained within the company and from years outside of the company, Elyse brings a fresh perspective to the CEO role. Her collaborative approach to leadership has allowed her to foster an agile team environment, one that is rather unique in the fresh produce industry.

Elyse’s appointment as CEO occurs just in time for Lipman’s 75-year anniversary.

“The milestone year has provided much reflection as I think back to visiting the farms with my grandfather as a child and now look ahead at the potential this company holds for the future generations,” Elyse imparts. “Our company value of investing in the best talent has resulted in over 300 people that have grown with the company for more than two decades of employment, which is the strongest illustration of our commitment to nurturing a family-oriented atmosphere and a strong culture at Lipman for generations to come. Seventy-five years is just the beginning.”

RCMA and Lipman recently broke ground on the new Lipman Family Campus for Children and Families in Immokalee, Florida

Elyse’s commitment extends into the grower community as well. Lipman Family Farms recently presented a check for $3 million to the Redlands Christian Migrant Association’s (RCMA) Immokalee Community Academy, the single largest one-time private gift made to RCMA in its 58-year history, and the largest donation Lipman has made to any one organization.

The gift will support efforts to expand RCMA’s charter schools throughout the state, including a new campus named Lipman Family Campus for Children and Families in Immokalee, Florida, which broke ground this past week, honoring the long-standing relationship between RCMA and Lipman.
